ASTM International has announced it is seeking participants to help develop HR Standards.

ASTM International is one of the world's leading standards development organizations.

The launch of Committee E63 on Human Resource Management follows a Dec. 14th 2015 organizational meeting held at ASTM headquarters in West Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. ASTM's board of directors formally approved its creation Feb. 2nd 2016.

The new committee brings together leaders in the HR field to contribute their expertise from a variety of areas such as compensation and benefits, employee relations, workforce planning, diversity and inclusion, training, performance management, and more.

E63 is attracting participants from businesses, government, higher education, associations and elsewhere. The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), which previously led standardization efforts in this field, will also participate. ASTM's open approach to standards development allows anyone to join.
